Tasks
Als Junior ABAP Entwickler*in arbeitest du an SAP-Projekten im BRIM-Umfeld. Gemeinsam mit deinem Team entwickelst du technische Lösungen, die exakt auf die Geschäftsprozesse unserer Kunden zugeschnitten sind.
In practice, this means:
- You implement and maintain customized solutions (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms) in the SAP/ABAP environment.
- You analyze functional requirements together with consultants and clients and implement them technically.
- You develop interfaces for data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- You fix errors, conduct tests, document your work, and continuously optimize existing solutions.
- You coordinate regularly with various teams, both internally and at the client site.
What you bring with you
Our Must-Haves
- Fluent German (C1+): You participate in client meetings, workshops, and cross-team coordination in the DACH region. You must be able to communicate complex technical matters confidently in German.
- Excellent English skills: We also work with international clients outside the DACH region.
- Valid Austrian work permit.
- Willingness to work at least 2 days per week in our Vienna office (1010).
- Professional experience as a developer (min. 1 year): You have initial experience in software development in a professional environment where independent work was standard.
- Programming skills in a modern language: Java, C#, C++, or comparable. This foundation will help you quickly get up to speed with ABAP.
- SQL knowledge: You can write basic SQL queries and adapt them with aggregations, sorting, and filtering.
- Object-oriented programming: You understand OOP concepts (classes, inheritance, etc.) and can apply them in your daily work.

What Is an Advantage but Not a Must
- Initial ABAP experience or knowledge of SAP modules (especially BRIM: SOM, CC, CI, FI-CA)
- Experience with BAdIs, enhancements, exits, or workflows
- Basic understanding of CDS Views, Fiori, or ODATA Services
- Adobe Forms, Web Services, or REST APIs
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and debugging
